I love pattern, as those of you familiar with my work may have noticed. Recently I have been playing with decoupage, and used this technique to add a touch of colour to a couple of chairs I found in a skip some years ago. I think they fit in well with my “maximalist” side – the one that chooses silver patterned wallpaper, ornate photos frames and tablecloths featuring supersized flowers. Kitchen chairs are next on the list… it may take me a few months to get those done!
