How not to make coffee – oblong glass dish

£35.00£45.00

This oblong decoupage dish features a collage of an elegant man in a suit holding a cane and a hat, inside a coffee cup. Above him, my favourite instructions of how not to make coffee, taken from a vintage boy scouts manual: ‘Allow water to boil. Then pour in coiffee and keep boiling slowly for about ten minutes or more, stirring occassionally. A very small drop of water will settle the grounds quickly’. Would you drink that? I know I wouldn’t but it’s a great present for the coffee lover in your life, as long as they have a sense of humour! The dish is painted, varnished, and finished with an artist’s seal on the back. It looks stunning as alternative wall art or displayed on a console table at home or in the office.  Can be handwashed with care.
