A peculiar couple – oblong glass dish

This oblong decoupage dish features the image of a man and a woman who are partly naked apart from some odd-looking orthopedic apparatus on their legs and waist. Fragments of text from book pages serve as a background. The motif used here is one of my original collages, and I have emebellished some of its details with with liquid gold leaf. The dish is painted, varnished, and finished with an artist’s seal on the back. It looks stunning as alternative wall art or displayed on a console table, as well as making a useful serving plate that will bring a very quirky touch to your table. Would make an interesting wedding or anniversary present. Can be handwashed with care.
